CLAIRE The Polar bear

 Claire the polar bear was a highlight of the Down Town Business Association’s Light Festival in 2023, brought to life through a collaboration between local artist Tessa Stamp and Gabs. The project featured a stunning backdrop of stars created by Gabs, allowing Claire to appear as if she were frolicking among the cosmos. Tessa enhanced the visual experience with her remarkable icebergs, stages, and screens that transformed the area into a winter wonderland.

Visitors were drawn to Claire, taking the opportunity to pose with the beloved figure and capture memorable moments. This engaging installation not only showcased artistic talents but also highlighted the community spirit of the festival.

Now proudly on display at City Centre Mall, Claire continues to bring joy and a touch of whimsy to all who encounter her. She stands as a testament to the creativity and collaboration within the local artistic community, inviting everyone to share in the magic she represents.
